January Employee-of-the-Month: Melissa Harris, works as a workforce development counselor in the Duncan area office and has been with ASCOG over two years. She works hard to serve her customers promptly and completes her work in a timely manner. ASCOG Holiday: ASCOG will close Monday, February 18 in observance of President’s Day. The offices will open at 8 a.m., Tuesday, February 19. Medicare Part D Enrollment Extended: Because of the bad weather experienced by the entire state of Oklahoma in December, enrollment in Medicare Part D for seniors who were disadvantaged by these conditions has been extended. The Special Enrollment Period (SEP) will be in effect for a minimum of 30 days. No documentation of hardship will be needed to establish eligibility for enrollment. New Minority Representative on ASCOG Executive Committee: Trustee James Dorn, minority representative from Grady County, has been selected by the other minority representatives to represent them on the executive committee.
