FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and two legislators hosted a work shop in Oklahoma City Feb. 19 for fire departments, cities, and volunteers to provide knowledge for requesting aid and reimbursement after disasters.  After the ice storm, this should be very informative.

Departments that received 80/20 grants are now in full swing and will be used to purchase equipment or adding onto the existing buildings.  The additions will be for class rooms, rest rooms or truck bays.
