| Community & Economic Development | The efforts of the CED Division are focused in Community Planning and Technical Assistance; Economic Development; and Brownfield Site Identification/Mitigation.
| | Environmental Services | The Environmental Services division takes the leading regional role in environmental issues and considerations, as well as addressing economic development for its member governments. It serves its members as a regional planning agency, as well as a forum for intergovernmental cooperation, partnerships, and coordination actions. | | Public Safety | The Public Safety division expands work in the field of public protection every year, including our Rural Fire Defense Program. This division coordinates the distribution of operating grants to all ASCOG rural fire departments, as well as serving as the focal point for selection and distribution of State grant funding for rural fire equipment and fire station construction. Our rural fire coordinator works throughout the area to locate and place surplus property with those local fire departments whose needs are the greatest. | | Administration | The Administration Division plays the vital role of the day-to-day office work. | | Resource Management | The Resource Management Division provides fiscal and resource information for the effective operation of all programs within ASCOG. All Federal, State, and local funds are received and accounted for and all expenditures are monitored for legality and appropriate justification. This Division is responsible for the financial and programmatic well-being of ASCOG. | | Supportive Services | The Supportive Services Division consists of three departments: Area Agency on Aging; Managed Care Services, and Rural Economic Action Plan (REAP). | | Workforce Development | This division is involved in all levels and aspects of workforce development - including business services, job seeker assistance, intensive services, and training services.
